The First Tee Chapter of King George County Virginia
Confidence, courtesy, judgement, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and honesty are the 1st Tee traits that can help a young person on the road to success. Sports teach such values in an engaging way. One sport in particular not only teaches positive life lessons, but also depends on an adherence to them. That sport is golf.
The King George First Tee Chapter was created in association with Troon Golf to positively impact the lives of local young people by teaching life skills and character education through the game of golf. The goal is to provide the golf-learning facilities and experience that will enable youth from every walk of life to partake of a most enjoyable game - one that teaches values for life and which can be played for a lifetime.
