About King George 1st Tee Program


King George 1st Tee of King George County, Virginia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created for the purpose of providing affordable access to golf and golf learning facilities for young people.  Particularly, those who otherwise might not have an opportunity to play.

The program is designed to serve for participants to learn valuable skill and character lessons in golf.  Creative activities and golf programs that teach the fundamental lessons of golf and competition play.
 
King George 1st Tee of King George County, Virginia currently supports 11 kids ages 8 through 17 providing free golf equipment, lessons, balls, tees, and tournament play, paid for by golf equipment manufactures and sponsors.  All awards, gifts and equipment of monetary value are turned over to the parents of the kids.  The child needs to be interested in golf and needs to meet the season's goals.  Otherwise, all equipment lent has to be returned.
